Protection policy of personal data
In accordance in accordance with the corresponding Spanish legislation on the Protection of Data of a Personal Character as laid down in Organic Law 15/1999, of 13th December, with regard to the exercising of the rights of access, correction and cancellation envisaged in the said law, and Law 34/2002, of 11th July, on Internet Services and Electronic Commerce as well as their concomitant regulations, Canary Islands Car S.L. (CICAR) informs you of the existence of an automated file of data of a personal character which has as its objective the management and maintenance of the services of self-drive cars for hire offered to the client.
We inform that your personal data will be added to files for which CANARY ISLANDS CAR, SL., is responsible for processing.
You can to exercise the right of objection, access, rectification, and cancellation of the processing, please inform us by sending an e-mail to: lopd@cicar.com, or by sending a written request to: Avda Comercial Mamerto Cabrera Medina, s / n, CP 35509, San Bartolomé, indicating the reference: "Data Protection” and any accompanying document proving your identity, as a copy of the Id Card.
Likewise, CICAR undertakes to fulfil its obligations with regard to the secrecy of data of a personal character and its duty to protect them and will adopt the necessary measures to avoid their modification, loss, treatment or unauthorized access.
As well as the data of a personal character expressly provided by the user, CICAR stores the information on the IP address of the computer from where the reservation is made in order to know the origin of the same.
