History

Autos Cabrera Medina was founded in 1967 with a small fleet of six cars to meet the requeriments of tourism which was emerging in Lanzarote at that time.

The beginnings were very hard, with limited resources. Hard work and ingenuity were essential to offer a quality service.

In 1989 CICAR (Canary Islands Car) joined the Cabrera Medina group, expanding its business to the rest of the Canaries.

Today, Canary Islands Car (CICAR) offers you the widest network of vehicle hire in the Canary Islands.

We have a fleet of over 6000 vehicles and our company creates over 335 direct jobs.
